Batman TV series star Adam West dies at 88

West died after a short but brave battle with leukemia, his family said

Adam West, who played Batman in a 1960s TV series, has died at age 88, according to his family.

The West family posted a statement on Facebook and Twitter, stating he died peacefully Friday night following “a short but brave battle with leukemia.”
