W.L. McLeod Elementary presents ‘Seussical The Musical’ in Vanderhoof

The musical is scheduled for April 25th through 27th.

Get ready for a whimsical journey as students and staff from W.L. McLeod Elementary School gear up to present ‘Seussical The Musical’ in Vanderhoof from April 25 to 27.

Featuring beloved characters like The Cat in the Hat, Horton, Jo Jo, and the Sour Kangaroo, this production promises a delightful blend of magic and entertainment.

Hosted at the school gym, this marks the 15th play by Proud to be McLeod Productions, showcasing a remarkable collaboration of volunteers comprising teachers, caregivers, and youth.

From managing sounds and lights to coordinating scene and set changes, students take the lead with support from a handful of adults.

Principal Libby Hart, who is also directing the play, expressed enthusiasm for the show’s engaging story and captivating music. She assures audiences of a great show, with a fantastic story and music.

Tickets remain affordable at $5 each or $20 for families of four or more, available at various locations including The Vanderhoof Department Store, Wallace Studios, the school office, and sometimes at the door.

There will be three evening shows at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, along with a Saturday matinee at 1 p.m.
