Corporal Jody Silver RCAS passed away unexpectedly December 15, 2016 in Nanaimo, BC.
He is the son of Jeannette and Ken Silver of Vanderhoof and brother to Heather and Colby Silver and sister Shawna Black. He is survived by his loving wife Tara Leigh Damrin.
Jody joined air cadets in Vanderhoof and set his goal for a career in the Air Force. He served in the Arctic, the Golan Heights as a U.N. Peacekeeper and all over Canada. Jody will be interned in the Field of Honour in Nanaimo following a full military service. Local service to be announced.
