With profound sadness we announce the passing of Gene Michels. Gene was born in Yakima, Washington and resided in Fort Fraser and Williams Lake, BC.
Gene is predeceased by his loving wife Virginia, his parents and brother Albert.
He is survived by his five children: Betty (Dorn) Jellison, John (Nancy) Michels, Carol Chernyk, Pat (Karen) Michels, Frank (Donna) Michels. 14 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
He will be missed deeply by family and friends.
At Gene’s request there will not be a service.
Memorial donations in Gene’s name may be made to the Diabetic Association, the Heart and Stroke Foundation, or the Cancer Society of Canada.
