Peter Sterling
Peter was born in Burns Lake
on August 27, 1962. He died
heroically in a tragic accident
at Smithers BC on May 14,
2009. Peter was pre-deceased
by his birth mother Agnes
Augusta. He is survived by his
best friend and partner Dawn
and his daughter Jessica. Also
left to mourn him are his foster
parents Cornelius and Anne
Bergen, his birth and foster
siblings, aunts, and uncles.
Peter was an avid fisherman
and a charismatic, skilled and
versatile man who worked in
many different enterprises during
his lifetime. A memorial
gathering of friends and relatives
will be held in the Decker
Lake Hall on Saturday June
13th at 2pm. In lieu of flowers
a donation may be made to a
charity of your choice.
