Friends, families and representatives from local government gathered on June 1 for the 33rd annual air cadets ceremonial review for the 899 Vanderhoof squadron in the Gospel Chapel.
Capt. John Callaghan presented the Top 1st-Year Award to Cpl. Brody Johnson, Sgt. Svend Nielsen of Vanderhoof RCMP presented the Top 3rd-Year Award to Sgt. Taylor McNichol, and reviewing officer Capt. Laura Brittain presented the Strathcona medal to Sgt. Skylar Smith-Clark.
After the ceremony, attending guests mingled over refreshments, as cadets presented their activities and accomplishments in the past year through various stations.
