NeighbourLink provided $4,000 to McLeod Elementary School to help purchase expertly designed and levelled books for students who are learning to read. These books provide our students and teachers with a greater variety of materials at each reading level. It means we have more books that are ‘just right’ for students and allows each child to move carefully forward through the levels. We call these ‘good fit books” and they are a big part of learning how to read. We are very grateful for this donation.
