School District No. 91, Nechako Lakes, is pleased to welcome Mr. Sagar Saxena to the position of Community Engagement and Partnerships Officer. Mr. Saxena has a Masters in Business Administration from the Cardiff Business School in Wales where he focused on International Business and Global Marketing Strategies. Mr. Saxena brings a variety of experiences to the school district including being an Operations Manager for the Me to We Foundation as well as his most recent experience at UNBC, Research Project Officer – Partnerships, Innovation and Development.
Mr. Saxena is active within a variety of organizations in central British Columbia and brings a wealth of connections and regional experiences to his new role.
In his role with the school district, Mr. Saxena will work to connect schools with a variety of community, provincial, and global partners to help create authentic learning opportunities for SD 91 students. Mr. Saxena will work closely with the SD 91 Careers department to build upon a rich history of community partnerships and dual credits for our students.
School District 91 would like to recognize both the Ministry of Education and the Northern Development Initiative Trust in helping to create this position.
