On July 23, four puppies found wandering on the side of Sturgeon Point Road now have a home, thanks to two Vanderhoof residents who asked not to be named. “I’m not some hero...I’m an animal lover.”
With their ability to take solid food and amount of teeth, the lost kids are estimated to be six to eight weeks old by a local veterinarian.
A Facebook call-out led them to families in minutes.
