The next Santas Anonymous event, sponsored by the Stevens family, will be a brunch in November at the Village Inn.

 

New groundwater license requirements

On Oct. 28 from 2 to 5 p.m. in Prince George’s Sandman Signature Hotel, the British Columbia Ground Water Association will be facilitating a ministry-led information Session on new groundwater licensing requirements under the Water Sustainability Act. It will explain the granting of water rights and related responsibilities, as well as water licence application requirements for existing and new groundwater users.

Library: colouring for adults

Artsy Drop-In, formerly known as Stitches,  at Vanderhoof Public Library now includes adult colouring.

On Wednesdays from Oct. 5 to May from 12 to 3 p.m., adults are welcome to work on their own craft projects with others in the library.

Pencils and some colouring pages will be provided, or feel free to bring your own. You are also welcome to bring your lunch.

 

Pro D Day in library

On Oct. 21, Vanderhoof Public Library will host Lego Play from 1 to 2 p.m. and a screening of Ice Age: Collision Course from 2:30 to 4:00 p.m.

Preschoolers must be accompanied by an adult and attendees are welcome to bring their own snacks for the movie.
