Celebrating our local harvest
The Nechako Valley Food Network, with support from the RDBN is happy to host a local food celebration and market on Wednesday September 14, 3:30-6:30pm at the Vanderhoof Community Garden on View Street.
This is the 3rd annual harvest celebration which is a family event to inspire people to think and act regarding our local food.
Come and enjoy a free meal made with local food. Local producers will have their home grown produce to sell. Tour the amazing progress of the community garden and learn about the benefits of growing your own food.

Family caregiver support group
Are you caring for someone with dementia? The Alzheimer Society of BC is offering a monthly support group in Vanderhoof.
The group meets Wednesdays 1-3pm at Riverside Place.
