From Aug. 23 to 25, the Stellat’en First Nation is inviting all community members, native or non-native, to its community garden and smokehouse to celebrate the annual salmon run.
The annual event features workshops on traditional preservation methods of fresh salmon, as well as a feast of the local fish and fresh vegetables harvested from the community plots.
