The 36th annual Community Terry Fox Run in Vanderhoof raised $2,177 this year towards cancer research over the course of Sept. 18 morning.
Some with pets, bikes, or trolleys in tow, 76 walkers and bikers logged 211.2 kilometres in Riverside Park from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
In 1980, Terry Fox began a marathon of hope across Canada three years after losing his right leg to bone cancer.
