Sharon Unger, Vanderhoof paramedic approached Sgt. Jason Keays of the Vanderhoof RCMP to put together a “Jail and Bail” operation to take place within the Vanderhoof community to raise money for Cops for Cancer.
“This is going to be a big event,” said Keays.
Participants will be notified before an arrest takes place in order to refrain from any complications that may revolve around work schedules.
Minimum bail amount is set at $300.
Event dates are to be announced.
