Despite cooler weather conditions, residents came out to support the 2019 Terry Fox run held in Vanderhoof.
There were snacks and coffee for residents to enjoy towards the start and end of their race. The mid-way water station at the Community Garden was run by the Elks.
Organizer Carrie Smith and her team of volunteers provided the right support needed for the run.
There were a total of 88 participants and approximately $2463.10 was raised, said Smith.
