Vanderhoof Men's Shed donates $25k for orthopaedic equipment at St. John Hospital

Vanderhoof Men's Shed presents the cheque to members of St. John Hospital Auxiliary Society.

The Vanderhoof Men’s Shed has generously donated $25,000 to the St. John Hospital Auxiliary Society to help purchase three orthopaedic drill sets for the St. John Hospital Operating Room.

The total cost of the sets is $40,000, with the Auxiliary covering the remaining $20,000.

“St. John Hospital Auxiliary is grateful to the Men’s Shed and the community for their generous support of our hospital through donations and activities like raffles and seasonal sales of chocolates, baked goods, décor, and plants,” said Ruth McIntosh, President of the St. John Hospital Auxiliary Society.
