Vanderhoof rodeo competitors bring home money and prizes

Vanderhoof’s rodeo competitors are doing well with their recent participation at the BC Rodeo Association Finals in Barriere, B.C.

Vanderhoof’s rodeo competitors are doing well with their recent participation at the BC Rodeo Association Finals in Barriere, B.C.

The event was held over the Labour Day long weekend.

This season, athelets drove all over the province competing in BC Rodeo Association competitions. At the end of the season all the top competitors were invited to the finals including Vanderhoof competitors.

The weekend started off with the Polaris Wild Card Rodeo. The Polaris BCRA Finals rodeo runs from Saturday until Monday with a rodeo performance each day.

Our athletes competed in the ladies barrel racing, breakaway roping, junior barrel racing, junior breakaway roping, team roping, bull riding and novince rough stock.

These athelets represented the town well and brough home money and prizes.
