To keep the spirit of the Fall Fair alive this year, as it had to be cancelled due to the pandemic, various businesses in Vanderhoof showcased entries from local artisans.
A 2020 “Fall Fair” Exhibit Challenge, sponsored by the Vanderhoof Chamber of Commerce, was held Aug. 4 until Aug. 15 and had entries from quilters, crafters, artists, growers and more.
There was one prize awarded per division based on “People’s Choice” voting.

- Junior - Alexa Funk
- Youth - Nikki Wiebe
- Flowers - Margaret Hall
- Quilting - a tie shared by Violent Larson and Dana Jansen
- Knitting - Mary Burkholder
- Needlework - Esther Byers
- Photography - Anne Egli
Other volunteers and sponsoring businesses include - Vanderhoof Department Store, Wallace Studios, Four Rivers Co-op, Vanderhoof Public Library, Maxine’s Greenhouse, Dollar Store, Studio X Country Cupboard, Goat River Folk Art, Razorback Ranch, and Royal LePage.
