Before the judge: week of May 9

Cases and results heard in Vanderhoof's law courts during the week of May 9.

In chronological order of hearing in Vanderhoof’s law court:

 

Jason Butler, Jordan Thomas Butler, Jacob Ingo Butler, and Jordan Dominic Toulon are charged for aggravated assault on March 23 in Fraser Lake. Toulon is also charged for willfully resisting or obstructing a peace officer. They will next appear in court on June 13.

Lucas Frances Collins is found guilty for driving while prohibited from doing so on Feb. 20. in Fort Fraser. He is fined for $500 and is prohibited from driving for a year.

Christian Don Gull is charged for sexual interference of someone under the age of 16, sexual assault, and telecommunicating to lure a child under the age of 16 in Fort St. James on Aug. 25 last year. He will next appear in court on June 13.

Lillian Jessie Isadore is found guilty for two counts of theft valued at $5,000 or under in Prince George on Aug. 4 last year.

Leon Lloyd Ketlo is found guilty for driving while prohibited from doing so in Fort Fraser on Jan. 1. He is fined for $500 and is prohibited from driving for a year.

An individual, whose identity was not released due to court order, is charged with sexual interference of someone under the age of 16, sexual assault, possession of and accessing child pornography in Vanderhoof. He or she will next appear in court on June 13.

Angelina Veronica, Curtis John, and Kristen Adrienne Raphael are charged with possessing controlled substances for the purpose of trafficking in Vanderhoof on April 26 in 2014. They will next appear in court on June 13.

Cebo August Tom is charged for driving while prohibited from doing so in Fort Fraser on Jan. 29. He will next appear in court on June 13.

Ashley Rose Bird is charged for driving while prohibited from doing so in Vanderhoof on Jan. 24. She will next appear in court on Nov. 8.

Adam David Paul Crossan is charged with impaired driving in Vanderhoof on Feb. 14. He will next appear in court on June 27.

Sabrina Joan David is charged for driving while prohibited from doing so in Vanderhoof on Jan. 30. She will next appear in court on June 27.

Gary Albert Hawrys is charged for mischief in obstructing the use and enjoyment of property in Vanderhoof on March 9. He will next appear in court on June 13.

Leroy Frederick John is charged for arson in damaging others’ property and wilfully resisting or obstructing a peace officer in Vanderhoof on April 19. He will next appear in court on July 11.

Tanya Lynn Johnny is charged for driving while prohibited from doing so in Vanderhoof on Dec. 4 last year. She will next appear in court on Nov. 8.

Jesse Luke Jack Juillette is charged for possessing controlled substances on Oct. 30 last year. He will next appear in court on June 13.

Ronald Paul Konowalchuk is charged for aggravated assault in Fraser Lake on March 25. He will next appear in court on Oct. 31.

Ryan Legere is charged for fishing with a set line that has a hook measuring less than 3 centimetres between its point and shank in Fraser Lake on Jan. 12. He has been issued a warrant for not appearing in court on May 9.

Aidan Wesley MacDonald is charged for break-and-entering and possessing controlled substances on April 10 in Vanderhoof. He will next appear in court on Dec. 16.

Austin Kenneth John Mason is charged for driving while prohibited from doing so in Vanderhoof on Feb. 4. He will next appear in court on Oct. 25.

Albert Norman Raphael is charged for dangerous driving causing bodily harm, assault with and without a weapon, impaired driving, as well as refusing to provide a breath sample for intoxication tests in Vanderhoof on April 10. He will next appear in court on July 11.

Marie Justine Raphael is charged with theft valued at $5,000 or less in Vanderhoof on Nov. 26 last year. She will next appear in court on June 13.

Sampson Nathan Raphael is charged for assault, two counts of uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm, and extortion in Vanderhoof on Feb. 22. He is also charged for assault causing bodily harm in Vanderhoof on May 9. Raphael will next appear in Prince George’s law courts on May 26 and in Vanderhoof on June 13.

Cory Milton Schapansky is charged for fishing during a no-fishing period in Vanderhoof on April 9. He will next appear in court on June 13.

Peter Howard Scopes is charged for fishing with a set line that has a hook measuring less than 3 centimetres between its point and shank in Fraser Lake on Jan. 22. He has been issued a warrant for not appearing in court on May 9.

Natasha Josephine Teed is charged with two counts of assault with Clayton Gus Joseph in Vanderhoof on Feb. 4. Teed will next appear in Prince George’s law courts on May 17.

She is also charged for driving while prohibited from doing so in Vanderhoof on March 18. She will appear in Vanderhoof’s law court for that charge on July 11.

Dale John Elias is found guilty in the unauthorized possession of a firearm in Vanderhoof on May 24 last year.

Axel Ivan Ens is charged for driving prohibited from doing so in Vanderhoof on Aug. 22 last year. He will next appear in court on Nov. 8.

Kayne Sabbe Penner is charged for manslaughter using a firearm and the careless use or storage of a firearm in Vanderhoof on Dec. 20, 2012. He will appear in Prince George’s law courts on May 16.

Jesse Aaron Prince is charged with possessing and accessing child pornography in Penticton on Oct. 28, 2009, as well as four counts of importing or distributing child pornography in Penticton and Surrey on July 18, 2010. He will next appear in Penticton’s law courts on May 18.
