Remote gun theft

Two firearms were reported stolen from Laidman Lake Lodge at 11 a.m. on Dec. 14.

At the resort located 55 kilometres southwest of Vanderhoof, or four hours by car on forest service roads, a First Nation man in his mid- to late 20s was observed to have taken the firearms and driven away in a small car.

Investigation continues for the incident.
