Power was restored at 10:21 am in Vanderhoof, after many businesses downtown closed down for two hours in the morning of Jan. 15. A wire was down, as reported by BC Hydro.
The Co-op mall was closed due to the power outage in the morning.

Downtown businesses have been affected, with no power since 8:50 am on Jan., 15.
Businesses and residents living east of Lampitt Avenue, south of Connaught Street, north of first street, west of Stewart Street. The cause is under investigation.
The temperature at 9:27 a.m. is - 37 C and with wind chill, the temperatures have soared below - 45 C.
