Forty-three people are facing charges after police officers made several drug and weapons busts in Dawson Creek and Fort St. John.
The Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit began an investigation into street- and mid-level drug traffickers last summer.
On Friday, the unit revealed the haul of drugs, weapons and cash it seized as a result of the probe, and the details of the charges.

• One loaded 12 gauge shotgun
• One AR15 semi-automatic rifle
• 74 ounces of cocaine
• Approximately 700 fentanyl pills/capsules
• 3.5 grams of crystal methamphetamine
• 17.4 grams of an amphetamine
• Two percocets
• 1.75 litres of liquid GHB
• Approximately $70,000
The CFSEU said 29 people have been in arrested, while another 14 are still on the run.
Charged so far are Jamie Christopher St. Denis, 37, and Christina Marie MacKay, 30, in Dawson Creek for trying to sell 24 ounces of cocaine for $39,000.
St. Denis was originally charged with 18 drug and firearms offences. He pleaded guilty earlier this year to trafficking cocaine, trafficking a firearm and possession of an illegal firearm. For all that, he got seven and a half years behind bars.
MacKay, who’s originally from Bay Tree, Alta., is accused of trafficking and possession of cocaine, as well as breaching conditions.
Ryan Holden, 36, of Dawson Creek, is charged with seven offences, including possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking
He and MacKay are set to appear in court on July 14.
