The Mobile Work Crew, a non-profit enterprise operated by Nechako Valley Community Services (NVCSS) has use of a 2013 Ford F150, generously donated by Rio Tinto Alcan and Integris Credit Union in May 2016.

The truck has recently been decaled and its official unveiling was on Mon. March 27. To commemorate the occassion, the Crew was joined by representatives from Rio Tinto Alcan and Integris Credit Union as well as Mayor Theissen, various other stakeholders and community members.

The Mobile Work Crew (MWC) was created in 2002 to provide gainful employment to an eager and enthusiastic team of individuals with diverse abilities. The Crew is willing and able to provide affordable, quality work including odd jobs, firewood delivery, yard work, home care, snow removal and more.

The Crew gratefully receives continuous support from loyal customers and appreciates generous donations from local businesses including the use of land, equipment, wood and items for silent auction fundraisers.

2017 marks the Society's 40th year. With offices in Vanderhoof, Fort St. James and Fraser Lake, over 55 employees are committed to offering a variety of quality programs to maximize the independence of individuals, infants to seniors, their families and supports.
