The Vanderhoof police building on West Columbia street has been undergoing somewhat of a face-lift, as you may have noticed recently. A large timber frame overhang was constructed on last week.
This is to make the main entrance more clear, due the the number of similar of doors on the building, an RCMP member confirmed.
The pleasant side-effect is that it adds to the esthetic beauty of the building.
