There is a vaccine clinic being held at Nechako Valley Secondary School on Thursday, Oct. 21.

SD91 is partnering with Northern Health to host Northern Health vaccination clinics at various school sites.

NVSS in Vanderhoof will host the vaccine clinic in the small auditorium from 2 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. on Oct. 21. for SD91 students and interested school district staff. And from 3:30 p.m. until 6 p.m. the clinic is open for all other members of the public.

“Access to the clinic is intended to improve access for SD91 students and staff that live in rural Vanderhoof and to those that have not been able to access other clinics,” the District of Vanderhoof wrote in a Oct. 19 social media post.

Parents can join their kids at the clinic if they want at anytime between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m.

Students receiving their first or second dose at the Oct. 21 clinic, will need to have a piece of valid ID on them.
