Canadian Ski Patrollers at Murray Ridge responded quickly and efficiently to assist a fallen skier on Saturday, January 29.

A woman had fallen and hit her head and had pain in her back when she was found by two other skiers.

One skier stayed to help her and one went down to alert patrollers.

Through the coordination of Alex Michaels, patrollers on the mountain were called to respond.

Patrollers Greg Kodila and Cam McCormick were near the top of the lift, and grabbed the sled from the hut, making their way down to the injured skier.

With the bystander’s help, the patrollers packaged the woman up and used the sled to carry her safely down the hill.

After being checked over, the woman was found to be okay.
