Gasoline prices are front of mind for many Vanderhoof drivers as they gear up for family outings and road trips. Paying $1.35 per litre for gasoline is the reality for many Canadian motorists and as we approach summer, prices are only expected to rise higher in Vanderhoof and across the province.

For drivers, a long-term solution to higher gas prices is to improve their own fuel efficiency by making minor changes to their driving habits. Drivers who make an effort to reduce their speed, avoid idling and unload unnecessary weight in their cars are just a few ways money can be saved at the pump.
