Traffic continues to be slow on Highway 16 in both directions due to an accident earlier in the morning on Feb. 4.
DriveBC reported that there is a vehicle recovery underway at Dahl Lake Road, and there is single lane, alternating traffic.

A detour is in effect through Telachick Road for light vehicles only.
Madonna Saunderson, media relations for the north district said the incident occured and was reported to the RCMP at 8:26 am, on Feb.4.
Other than that, the incident is under investigation and there was no fatality due to the crash, she said.
