The Vanderhoof Chamber of Commerce will be holding a trade show on June 4-5 at the Vanderhoof Arena.

Door prizes and activities for all ages are in the works including a fashion show and colouring contest with more to be determined.

It’s the first in-person trade show for Vanderhoof since the pandemic started and chamber vice-president Kevin Wallace said he’s looking forward to everyone getting to meet face-to-face after a long two years.

We just got to the stage where we can confirm that this is going to happen and we have quite a number of vendors already interested right off the bat, which is great,” Wallace said.

“It’s a pretty big event and within the first few days we had over 20 registrations.”

There are currently 60 booths available for businesses to showcase their products and services. Wallace said that could be expanded if more would like to join.

Wallace said the chamber prioritizes local businesses first but they are also open to other businesses that operate in Vanderhoof that would like to be involved.
