Files reported to the Vanderhoof RCMP between February 26 and March 4.

Files reported between February 26 and March 4.

In the last few weeks, the RCMP have had three reported incidents of break and enters where large quantities of tools were stolen from three different residences. RCMP members would urge anyone with any information on these incidents to call the Vanderhoof RCMP detachment.

On February 27, just after midnight, three adults were reported to have been assaulted and robbed by two men at Stoney Creek Reserve. These two men have been identified as twin brothers Shawn and Adrian Carlson. The RCMP have issued warrants for their arrest.

There have been several reports of thefts of fuel from vehicles in a particular area of town. Vehicles on Recreation, Stewart and Connaught Street have been targeted. If anybody living in these areas has noticed any suspicious vehicles during the night, please contact the Vanderhoof RCMP detachment.

On March 1 at 1:30 p.m., a single motor vehicle accident was reported at the Carmen Hill Road intersection. A vehicle went off the road and into the ditch. RCMP members would like to warn residents to be careful at that intersection as there have been a number of accidents there this winter.
