Ever wonder how a dam is built on an already flowing river?
BC Hydro has released a new video animation that shows the proposed Site C dam on the Peace River would be built.
The B.C. government on Dec. 16 gave the go-ahead for BC Hydro to start construction on the third dam on the Peace, with a delay of six months to try to work out settlements with area aboriginal communities and landowners whose properties will be flooded or cut off.
