On June 19 at 10:52 a.m. the Vanderhoof RCMP received a report of a two vehicle collision on Hwy 16 near Swanson Road, Cluculz Lake, which is approximately 25 kilometers east of Vanderhoof.
Officers attended the scene and established that an east bound Lincoln Aviator with a single occupant collided with west bound dump truck hauling a trailer. Unfortunately the driver of the SUV, a 32 year old Prince George woman was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The cause of the collision is unknown at the time but the investigation is continuing.
