Aneita Surina was born March 15, 1965 in Vermilion and passed away February 4, 2011 in Vermilion at the age of
45 years. Prayer service
was held at St. Columbia Catholic Church, Clandonald
February 8, 2011. Celebrant was Deacon Ken Noster, accompanist Lorna Garnier. Mass of the Resurrection at Clandonald Hall February 9, 2011 was celebrant Father
Adam Deren, accompanist June Menzies and leader of song Maighread Axe. Hymns sung were “Hail Mary: Gentle Woman”, “Only A Shadow”, “Hail Holy Queen’, “Prayer of St. Francis” and Dewberry Mennonite Choir sang “Here I Am Lord”, “How Great Thou Art”, “Amazing Grace” and “On Silver Wings”. Aneita’s life story was read by Susan Rathbone, Moira O’Neill and Marnie McGuckin. Pallbearers were: Rick Bardoel, Ivan Bardoel, Paddy Bardoel, Garry Bardoel, Alvin Bardoel and Paul Surina. Honorary pallbearers were all of Aneita’s family and friends. She leaves to cherish her memory: her husband Gerry Surina of Dewberry, children: Jacquelyn, Kailee and Cassandra Surina all of Vermilion, Gabriel, Rebekah, Bridget and Hannah Surina all of Dewberry, mother Evelyn Bardoel of Clandonald,

Interment at St. Andrews Catholic Cemetery.
