Born June 13th 1924 in Gull Lake Saskatchewan to Henry and Wliiamena Jones. Where she lived with 5 brothers and 1 sister until she married Clayton Thon in 1945. They lived in Gull Lake Saskatchewan, Red Deer Alberta, Nordegg Alberta, Fraser Lake B.C. and Fort Fraser B.C. Anna was predeceased by mother, father, 5 brothers, 2 sisters, 2 husbands and 2 daughters.
She mothered 6 children Larry, Robert, Donald, Jenice, Deborah and Richard. She lost her husband Clayton to Kidney disease in 1964. She then married Joseph Walton in 1969 and gained 3 step children Linda, Glenda, and Penny. Her and Joe Lived in Fort Fraser B.C. and Revelstoke B.C. They then Retired to Fraser Lake B.C. in 1992.
She Lost her husband Joe Walton to heart and kidney failure in May 2006. Anna lived in her home in Fraser Lake with the help and care of her family until July 2017, she then moved to the Stuart Nechako Manor in Vanderhoof, B.C., a long term care home, where she resided until her passing May 31, 2019.
She loved her flowers, country music, photographs, Sunday dinners with her family and by gum she did the cooking.
She especially loved all her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, where she acquired the name GG.
Rest in Peace Mom, we will miss you until our time comes.
