IANTKOW – ELI, it is with great sadness the family of Eli Iantkow announce his peaceful passing on Monday April 30th 2012 at St. John’s Hospital Vanderhoof, B.C. Eli is survived by his three daughters; Holly Keyowski, Jasmine (Ken) Ferris and Leah Stojkovic. He is also survived by four grandchildren Eli (Cathy Poole) Keyowski, Nadine (Brad) Hoy, Frankie and Matthew Stojkovic and seven great grandchildren. Eli was predeceased by his wife Adaline of 53 years, grandson baby Keyowski, Sister Olga Montpetit, Mother Rose and Father Steve Iantkow.
Eli and Adaline owned and operated Lakeside Resort and Attic Pub at Cluculz Lake, BC upon their arrival to the Prince George area in 1971. Eli enjoyed the outdoors, spending many years hunting and fishing with family and friends. His passion in life was woodworking, mechanics, gardening and creating inventions. Eli and Adaline spent their retirement years in a beautiful house they built on Cluculz Lake. He will be sadly missed by many friends, family and loved ones.
Memorial service will be held on Saturday May 5th 2012 at 1:00 pm from the Friendship Hall (Victoria St.) Vanderhoof, BC. Interment will follow at the Vanderhoof Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society. Assman’s Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements.
