It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ernest Triggs.
Ernie was born in Treherne, Manitoba, married Leola (Lee) Smith on July 30, 1957. Ernie’s trade was a welder and he worked in several mines. However, later in life he pursued other interests such as working for Pepsi, Dairyland and as a security guard with Plateau Mill and Bond Bros.
Predeceased by his wife Leola Triggs in 2007; his parents; sisters Violet Forman, Margaret Hutchinson and Ivy Triggs; brothers Alfred and George Triggs. Survived by sister Lillian Hird; son Dwayne Triggs; daughters Julie Triggs and Patricia Maruda; Son-in-law Russell Maruda; grandsons Harley Triggs and Justice Arbuckle; and many nieces and nephews.
