ALMOND, Gene Randolph (Randy)
Born February 7, 1946 passed away unexpectedly Saturday, August 18, 2012. Randy resided in English Bay for over 40 years and worked for the Attorney Generals office and as a Justice of the Peace for a combined 33 years. He was born and raised in Vanderhoof, so comes home to his beloved north and the farm. The eldest of 10 siblings. Randy is survived by his mother Frances; sisters Marlene (Cy), Treva (Eric), brothers John (Terry), Brent, Scott, Barry, Robert, Richard (Lucia) and was a beloved uncle and great uncle to many nieces, nephews Stephanie (Lance), Dayna, Jacel, Janallie (Sebastian), Eva Marie, great nieces, nephews Christian, Faith, Kaeden and numerous cousins. He had a tight knit circle of friends who will miss him. He was predeceased by his father Scotty, and sister Lonnie. A memorial Mass will be celebrated Saturday September 1 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic church in Vanderhoof.
