James (Jim) Alec
Cormack
June, 15, 1933 to
January 3, 2007
Jim was born in Biggar,
Sask and lived at Foam
Lake Sask until he was 12
and the family moved to
Agassiz. In 1956 he married
Sheila Mae MacKenzie.
They moved to Lac La
Hache in 1959 where he
worked in the logging
industry and owned his
own logging truck. In 1973
they moved to Vanderhoof
and bought a farm on
Braeside Road. Jim worked
as security of Plateau while
starting his cow herd and
later worked for the Co-op
as the fuel delivery driver.
After retiring from farming,
Jim and Sheila moved to
Cluculz Lake where he
took up woodworking and
gardening.
Jim is survived by his wife
Sheila, children, Leah (Larry)
Cudmore, Laurie (Ed Klassen)
and Mark. Grandchildren
Jennifer (Jim), James (Sheri),
Rita (Tim), Robert (Vanessa).
Great Grandchildren, Paige,
Cassidy, Mackenzie and
Austin. Sisters Fran (Bob)
Barclay, Rita Couch and Sister
in law Sally Cormack and
many nieces & nephews.
He was predeceased by his
parents James & Margaret
Cormack and brother Murray.
