On Wednesday, October 19, 2022, Mrs. Jeanette Wiens of Mayerthorpe, AB, formerly of Vanderhoof, BC passed away at the age of 71 years.
Jeanette leaves behind her sons, Paul Wiens and Jason (Danielle) Nosek; daughter, Heather (Sergio) Cucovaz; grandchildren, Stephanie (Bradley), Derek, Braden and Brody; great-grandchildren, Logan, Jackson and Sophia; as well as many more dear relatives and friends.
Predeceased by her husband, Richard (2015); parents, Hugh and Olga Slater; and brother, Robert.
Thank you to the doctors and staff of the Mayerthorpe Healthcare Centre for the excellent care provided to Jeanette.
Honouring Jeanette's request, no ceremony will be held. A private inurnment will be held in Oak Point Cemetery in Manitoba.
