It is with great sadness that the family of Joan Melanie Feere announce her sudden passing on Saturday, January 12, 2019 in Barrhead, Alberta, at the age of 69. Joan was born and raised in Flin Flon, Manitoba. She showed her nurturing nature in her early years by helping to care for her mother, who suffered from M.S. Her ability to make you feel better came naturally. She always took time to talk and boasted about her family whom she loved so much.EJoan married her late husband Rick in 1970 and lost him in 2009. Her time without him was difficult as her life was devoted to him and their two children. Joan will be lovingly remembered by her children Tammy (Allan) and Lloyd (Laura), her grand children Mitchell, Desiree (David)and Layton, her great grand children Tiana, Kyson, Kinsley, Taven, as well as her sister Sharon. Joan enjoyed camping, darts, bowling and playing sticks, crib and twenty one for quarters. She liked Chinese food, Elvis and hunting (she helped dress at least one moose). Joan loved spending time with family and long drives with Rick and their poodle Joey. Her ashes will be scattered with Rick's and Joey's in a private gathering. We will miss her devotion and unwavering support. We love you Mom/Gma/Grandma.
