BISANZ, Margaret Rose

(nee McLean)

May 7, 1941 – February 18, 2014

With heartfelt sorrow we say goodbye to our beloved Marg, who passed away surrounded by family, finally peaceful in heaven after a third battle with cancer. Predeceased by parents Donald and Sophie, and brother Al (Faye), she is survived by devoted husband Mickey, sisters Julie (Bryan), Karen (Frank), and Donna (Frank), brothers Bruce (Kathy) and Harry (Becky), sons Stephen (Celia), Richard (Marla), and Mark, grandchildren Cleo, Sam, Charlotte, Bryson, Willa, Michael and Temmra and many dear nieces, nephews, in-laws, friends and their families. Born in Chatham, N.B. and raised in nearby Loggieville, she studied nursing in Chatham and Montreal before crossing Canada to work at St. John Hospital in Vanderhoof where she met and married Mickey. They later settled in Fraser Lake to raise their family, where Marg became a successful business-woman for many years, both in partnership with Mickey and running her own clothing store, also volunteering for various community organizations. In retirement her greatest joys were her beloved grandchildren, chatting with her family back east, reading, and working on her beautiful gardens. Always sincere and down-to-earth, her boundless energy and positive nature, her giving spirit, drive towards self-improvement, and deeply loving marriage have inspired and touched us permanently. She remains forever in our hearts. Memorial service at Stellat’en Community Hall on March 1, 2014 at 1:00PM. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to your charity of choice.
