Born in the Mapes area as the first of six, Muriel lived her life and raised her children within a few miles of her birthplace. She was a very active member of of the community and her love and support will be greatly missed.
Muriel is survived by her children; Ralph Weber (Tammy), Albert Weber (Jeep), Jim Weber (Pat), Mike Fasten, and Darlene Bowman (Chris).
Grandchildren; Miechelle, Darla, Dawn, Ryan, Michael, Kelsey-Lynn, Dillon, and 5 great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind 3 sisters, and 1 brother; Bertha Wright, Albert Stampflee (Mollie), Elsie Ruttan (Jim), and Sheila Solmonson (Martin).
Muriel is predeceased by her parents Henry and Ivy Stampflee, husbands Donald Weber and Eric Fasten, and sister Gladys Elias.
The family wishes to express their sincere and deepest thanks to all of the members of the community who assisted in countless ways, and to Dr. Sean Ebert and the nursing staff of the St. John Hospital.
