Norm passed away peacefully on December 9, 2005 at Stuart-Nechako Manor in Vanderhoof at the age of 75 after a lengthy illness. Norman is survived by his wife of 56 years Bernice: Children; Larry (Pat), Connie (James), Randy (Ginnie), Gary (Isabel), Barry. He is also survived by his brother Clinton (Betty), sisters Sharon (Frank), Donna (Al) and numerous Grandchildren and Great-grandchildren as well as Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and many friends. Pre-deceased by parents Thomas and Goldie, brother Earnest and sisters Nellie, Frieda and Adeline and great granddaughter Kimberely.

Celebration of Life Service was held December 15, 2005 at the Stellat’en Hall in Fraser Lake, BC. The Smith family would like to thank all those that offered their time and services during the time of their loss. Special thank you to George Woolsey of Fraser Lake for constructing the Urn for Norm’s remains.

In “Tribute to Norman,” donations may be made to the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 274, Fraser Lake, or to the Stuart-Nechako Manor in Vanderhoof.
