In Loving Memory ~
Peter has finally won his battle with cancer, on April 5th, he peacefully passed away.
Peter challenged his 2 year cancer battle with the same strength, courage, humour and dignity as he lived his life. He chose M.A.I.D., which was a very moving and dignified peaceful passing, with his loving wife (of 41 years) by his side and also gave him the opportunity to say goodbye to family and friends.
Peter was predeceased by his parents, Arnold & Maria Van Dinter of Vanderhoof, BC.
He leaves behind the love of his life, Clara and his son Bryan (Monica) Van Dinter, daughter Julie (Keith) Taylor, sisters Wilma (Brock) McNary, Theresa (Salvador) D'Agosto, his brother Ed (Adele) Van Dinter, in laws Penny (Bill) Lott, Sherry (Larry) Badger, also 6 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in Peter's name.
