February 12, 1951 - January 1, 2019
Richard Dean Barton was born in Auburn, California February 12, 1951. Rick passed away peacefully on January 1, 2019 at 67 years of age. Rick and his parents Glendoris and Robert Barton moved to Vanderhoof in 1966.
He worked in his dad's sawmill and several other Sawmills. Rick was a hard worker and enjoyed cutting wood for NVCSS. He enjoyed watching movies, bowling and fishing. Some of his favorite places were Disneyland and Billings Montana. His friend and pal for life was his dog Corky.
Richard became a Canadian Citizen December of 2006.
Richard's Mom and Dad preceded him in death. Rick's older sister Sander Silberberger also preceded him in death. One remaining sister Patricia Larson, her husband James and several nieces and nephews.
After Rick's parents passed he became a client of Nechako Valley Community Services Society.
A Celebration of Life was held Tuesday January 8, 2019 at Riverside Place.
