SUSIE SCHROEDER
December 27, 1919 - February 17, 2011
It is with great sadness that the family of Susie Schroeder announces her passing on February 17, 2011. She will be dearly missed by her children Leona (Garry) Bugg, Carrie (Kenny) Gammel and Brenda (Mark) Baskin. She will also be missed by her grandchildren Tami (Jeff) Normandeau, Jim (Anita) Bugg, Shannon (Dave) Moody, Amie (James) Killam, Michelle (Wayne) Gynp, Jody Levesque, Marc (Jeannette) Baskin, Tyler (Chelsea) Baskin; 13 great-grandchildren Jessie, Levi & Jacob Normandeau, Riley & Markus Bugg, Brandon & Jayden Moody, Zachary, Orry & Marlee Killam, Taylor Gynp and Bree & Emma Baskin. She was predeceased
by her husband Cornelius Schroeder (2006), her parents
Heinrich & Susana Schmidt, her brother Henry Schmidt
(2001) and sister Eva Friesen (2006). Mom was a gentle
soul who loved everyone she came in contact with. Her
last years were spent at the Stuart Nechako Manor where
she was wonderfully cared for by the staff and we thank
them so much for this. We will forever be grateful to her
granddaughter’s family, Amie, James Killam, children
Zachary, Orry and Marlee who demonstrated their love
for her through regular visits, taking her on outings and
just spending time with her. She was so loved!
A celebration of her life was held on Monday, February 21, 2011.
