The Bantam tier 4 championship hockey tournament starts Sunday March 18 and winds up Wednesday March 23 at the Bears Den arena in Vanderhoof

The Bantam tier 4 championship hockey tournament starts Sunday March 18 and winds up Wednesday March 23 at the Bears Den arena in Vanderhoof. Admission is free for all games.

There will be opening ceremonies Sunday March 18, 7:30 at the arena and a closing ceremonies on Wednesday immediately following the final game.

A $25,000 shot will take place at 7:30 Wednesday March 18  before the final game – provided by Hub International and A&W restaurants. Someone with an eagle shot on goal could go home a bit richer.

The championship game is at 8 p.m.

Division A teams include Chetwynd, Whitehorse, Vanderhoof and Jan de Fuca. Division B includes Burns Lake, Kelowna, Windermere Valley and Mackenzie.
