Try cross-country skiing with Nechako Nordics Ski Club Jan. 12

Local club is holding a free day, with no charge for rentals

With the holidays over, it’s time to enjoy the remainder of winter, and what better way to do that than by trying out a new winter sport?

On Jan. 12, 2019, from 12 p.m. until 4 p.m., the Nechako Nordics Ski Club invites everyone to join in the fun with a free skiing event.

The trails are located west of Vanderhoof at 3501 Quail Road, off Highway 27.

Come and try the sport of cross-country skiing – it’s a sport the whole family can enjoy.

The Nechako Nordics will have a good selection of classic and skate ski equipment available for use at no charge, and certified coaches will be available to help you get started.

Refreshments will be available by donation.

Visit the Nechako Nordics Ski Club Facebook page or contact Richard D. Burkholder at bur9000@telus.net or 250-567-9000 for more information.
