Eight snowboarders from Nechako Valley Secondary raced down the mountains of Smithers against over 140 others this month.
On Feb. 2 and 3, the North Zone provincial qualifiers for high school ski and snowboard took place on Hudson Bay Mountain.
The four fastest finishers from each team will be used in scoring the team standings in each of the snowboard and skiing disciplines, to determine who will advance to the provincial championships.

Addison Miller-Gauthier of Nechako Valley Secondary finished two runs in one minute 36 seconds.
Patrick Vahi of Nechako Valley Secondary finished two runs in one minute, 35 seconds.
Jillian Pearson of Nechako Valley Secondary finished two runs in one minute 42 seconds.
Torin Chapman of Nechako Valley Secondary finished two runs in one minute 17 seconds.
Madisyn MacKinlay of Nechako Valley Secondary finished two runs in two minutes, nine seconds.
Casey Elliot of Nechako Valley Secondary finished two runs in one minute, 35 seconds.
