Angie Mindus

My journalism career began in daily and weekly newspapers in Alberta. A desire to travel led me to a full-time photographer position at the Williams Lake Tribune in B.C.’s interior.

I honed my writing skills as a hard news reporter in Williams Lake for a decade before becoming editor of the Tribune and now regional editor for the Cariboo-North Thompson for Black Press, overseeing seven newspapers.

I am passionate about storytelling and the difference good journalism makes, whether that is in print or online.
When I’m not working you will find me enjoying the outdoors with my family in B.C. and Alberta.
